Our Policies

To be eligible for a makeup class, you must be signed up for the entire season and you must notify the front desk of your absence more than 24 hours before your scheduled clinic via phone, email (talk2us@strandtc.com), or the make up request form. Strand Tennis offers up to two make ups per season. Makeups cannot be rolled over to into the next season. Makeups are subject to availability and are NOT guaranteed. You will be put on a makeup list and notified only when a spot becomes available.
Private lessons, 10pack clinics, and Rookies Program clinics are not eligible for make-ups.

For winter 2025-’26 and subsequent tennis seasons:
Players with ten-packs can only book their classes up to two months in advance. For example, on January 1st, you are able to book through the end of February, but not for March.
Players can only book one-off/drop-in classes up to one months in advance. For example, on January 1st, you are able to book through the end of January, but not for February.

We require 24 hours’ notice if you would like to make any changes to your scheduled private lesson, scheduled drop-in clinic, or booked court time to ensure you are not charged the full rate of services. To cancel either email in writing or speak with the office manager directly, submitted via email (talk2us@strandtc.com) or the Contact Us form on the Strand Tennis website. Please do not make cancellations with your tennis pro. Missed lessons cannot be rescheduled, which means payments for missed lessons are not reusable, refundable, or transferable. You can cancel and reschedule lessons anytime up to 24 hours before your lesson.

All fees are non-refundable due to illness, vacations, or schedule conflicts. If an extenuating injury occurs, we will require a doctor's note for consideration. Please see the medical policy for more information.
All requests for a clinic withdrawal after the start of the session must be made directly to the office manager, submitted via email to: ruthann@strandtc.com).
If notice of withdrawal is received at least 14 days prior to the start of the clinic, all monies paid with the exception of a $30.00 administrative fee, per session enrolled, will be refunded. Fewer than 14 days prior to the start of the clinic, no refunds will be provided, for expulsion from the clinic, for voluntary withdrawal from the clinic, or for injuries sustained prior to the clinic or at the clinic.
Any player dropping out of a clinic (for a non-medical reason), after the start of the session, may receive a credit if and only if the spot in the class is filled by another player. If and when we replace your spot, a credit for the remaining sessions will be issued to your Strand account.

If a player becomes injured during their clinic or summer camp season, medical documentation is required. Credit will then be given for the portion of payment from the date of the medical documentation due to injury. Refunds will be issued in the form of a credit valid for one year from issue date. All requests for a credit due to medical reasons must be made directly to the office manager, submitted via email (ruthann@strandtc.com).

Strand Tennis will charge a 3.5% processing fee for all credit card purchases. Refunds for any pro shop items (racquets, apparel, etc.) will result in a $30 processing fee.

All monies paid with the exception of a $50.00 administrative fee, per session enrolled, will be refunded provided the notice of cancellation is received 14 days prior to the start of the ladder league. No credits/refunds will be provided less than 14 days prior to the ladder league, for expulsion from the league, for voluntary withdrawal from league, or for injuries sustained prior to the league or during the league.
