CJ grew up in Chatham and has been playing tennis for about 15 years. He competed on Chatham High School's varsity team, earning the #1 doubles spot. CJ went on to play Division 3 Tennis at Cabrini University where he was named Captain his sophomore year. In his three seasons for the Cavalier, CJ was named player of the year twice and helped lead the team to three conference championships. CJ also played in two NCAA National tournaments.
